Arriving

Please allow sufficient time for parking. There is no parking. Allow sufficient time nonetheless. Visitors who arrive via public transport should note that the nearest stop was discontinued in 2014 but the sign remains.

The main entrance is unmarked except for a small sign reading DEPT. with an arrow. The arrow is incorrect. Please proceed to the second door.

Before You Visit

  • Complete Form LC-77 (Intent to Visit).
  • Submit Form LC-77 at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance by certified post.
  • Do not telephone. The telephone is a formality.
  • Bring photographic evidence, a pen, and patience.
  • Do not bring gnomes. The gnomes stay outside.

In the event of a yard emergency outside standard hours, please complete Form LC-99 (After-Hours Yard Distress) and file it electronically by emailing it to yourself, then forwarding it to yourself a second time. The Department will be notified automatically within six to eight weeks.
